ReDerm MD Medical Spa Denver Light Based & Laser Treatments
The development and use of light based and lasers treatments has expanded enormously in recent years, and one of their invaluable uses is for repairing human tissue. Cosmetic lasers and other light based devices have allowed for effective and safe treatment of many cosmetic pigment disorders.
There are many kinds of lasers, all man-made, and all made for a specific purpose. Some particular features distinguish a laser light from other lights such as incandescent bulbs or neon lights...
Laser beams are:
- Directional – they focus precisely, as opposed to flashlights, for instance, which send their light rays out in many directions.
- Coherent – the particles in the light are organized, and they move in step with each other.
- Monochromatic – only one color is contained in the laser beam, as opposed to white light, which contains all colors. Lasers can even be in color ranges invisible to our eyes, such as ultraviolet (above the violet vibration) and infrared (below the red vibration).
Lasers come in many strengths, and only some are appropriate for use on human tissue.
Our expert staff uses the Sciton laser system, which provides lasers for a wide range of procedures:
ClearSilk: a non-invasive, non-ablative laser that delivers gentle micro-pulses of laser energy to the skin safely. This laser treatment is a quick facial-like procedure that will address fine lines, wrinkles, the appearance of large pores, uneven skin texture, diffuse redness, Rosacea, and minimizes scars. All Skin types.
ThermaScan: Collagen Replacement Therapy (CRT)- is a non-invasive infrared laser that is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, in addition to treating active acne and atrophic acne scars. This laser improves the skin from inside out by heating the upper layers of the skin. The heating stimulates the growth of new collagen which adds firmness and resilience to the skin. The growth of collagen continues for some time after your treatment. No Visible Downtime. All Skin types.

MicroLaser Peel: is a superficial laser treatment resurfacing that removes a very thin layer of the skin. Removing the top layer eliminates some of the damaged cells that gently revitalizes the skin. The result is healthier-looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved texture, and uneven tone. Little downtime.
Laser Hair Reduction: If you are ready to get rid of your unwanted hair for good, try laser hair removal. With the help of our highly qualified staff, you can finally embrace a comfortable option for dealing with unwanted hair. Treatment with lasers does require more than one visit because not all of the hair will be in the active growth phase during the first treatment. Patients who return for follow-up treatments report an 80 to 90 percent reduction in unwanted hair. Once the treatments are complete, most patients are able to throw away the razors and tweezers for good.
Laser Vein Treatment: The best and gold standard treatment for spider veins and broken capillaries.
BBL™ BroadBand Light Photo Rejuvenation: is a popular photo facial treatment for sun damage, age spots, rosacea, acne, or broken capillaries.
Profractional Therapy: ProFractional laser creates clean, micro-ablated channels in the skin, stimulating collagen production. The result is a polished look, minimizing pore size, fine lines & wrinkles.
Halo™ Laser Treatments - Halo™ restores your skin’s youthful glow. Over time, sun damage and the body’s natural aging process can cause your skin to have sun spots, fine lines, and lose its natural, healthy glow.
SkinTyte™ Skin Firming Laser Treatment - SkinTyte™ is a non-invasive treatment used to address skin laxity and sagging. It can be used on any area of the body where increased firmness is desired, such as the face, neck, abdomen, arms, and thighs.
